By Air

When booking travel arrangements, please keep in mind that the closest airport to Grosse Pointe, Michigan is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). Most major airlines fly into DTW, but it is Northwest Airlines hub. Another option would be to fly Southwest Airlines, which flies into the airport. Unfortunately the flight from Philadelphia to Detroit has a stop in Chicago. One last option from the east coast would be to fly Spirit Airlines. They have a direct flight from Atlantic City to Detroit Metro, but they are a smaller airline.

By Land

Since Detroit resides very much in the middle of most of the people that we know, it is very accessible by road. See some of our beautiful country on your way to the wedding!

Chicago and Points West

Generally for those coming from the west, the easiest way to Detroit is to take I-94 East into the city.

Philadelphia and Points East

Generally for those coming from the east, the easiest way to Detroit is to take I-76 West through Pennsylvania to I-80 West in Ohio. You would continue on I-80 to Toledo where you would take I-280 North till I-75 North, which runs into downtown Detroit.
